• September 11, 2006: Team-Kapp finished it's first competition of the season on the 4th place at the Baden Masters. After having had a good start in the semi-final against Team Schwaller, 4 stones in the 5th end meant the loss. Find pictures and results here.

• August 16, 2006: First draft of the schedule for 2006/2007 is online.

June'06

• June 29, 2006: Team-Kapp announces new player. Andreas Lang who formerly played for Schwenningen will join Team-Kapp playing Second. Holger Hoehne and Oliver Axnick will focus on their jobs and private lifes the coming season and will be spare players only. Please read the according press realease (in German).

April '06

• April 24, 2006: Team-Kapp enjoyed themselves at the Olympia Welcome Party in the Euopapark Rust!

• April 7, 2006: Team-Kapp has a new e-mail address, see contact page. As well as personalized e-mail addresses.

March '06

• March 19, 2006: Team-Kapp finished the second Bundesliga round with 3-2 and then lost the Tie-Breaker against the tied (both teams finished with 8-2 in total) Team Stock from Oberstdorf who will represent Germany at the European Curling Championships in Basel in December '06. Congratulations!
• March 14, 2006: Uli's new Curling book (German) will be available on March 22 via Amazon or Bol! Get some more insights here!

• March 6, 2006: Team-Kapp won all games in the first Bundesliga round (qualification for the European Championship in Basle, December 2006). The second round will be from March 17-19 in Füssen.
• March 6, 2006: Review of the Olympic Winter Games in Torino: We congratulate the Curling medalists from Canada, Finland, and the USA in the men's competition and Sweden, Switzerland, and Canada in the women's. Our disappointing 8th place is quite a bit away from what we wanted to achieve. Nevertheless we did enjoy our participation at the Olympic Winter Games in Torino 2006 and we will share some impressions in a web-gallery later.

February '06

• February 8, 2006: Team-Kapp will be off-line till February 27, after returning from Torino. Have a look on our Torino site!
• February 7, 2006: Curling is very well explained on German TV channel ZDF. Team-Kapp gives lot of details! See article, video, and slide show here.
• February 1, 2006: Curling in Stern TV tonight at 22.15 in RTL. Team Hellas will compete against celebrities.Team-Kapp might show up in the team's introduction (ECC in Garmisch).

January '06

• January 31, 2006: Team-Kapp had the perfect round robin (6-0) and won the Page game 1st against 2nd (new Team Lang) but could not find back into the final game against Team Stock after having missed a double for 2 in the second end. We congratulate the Oberstdorf guys for their German Curling Champion title 2006 and wish them all the best at the World Curling Championships in Lowell, USA. • January 24, 2006: Team-Kapp got their official Torino-clothes.

• January 20, 2006: DSF (Zuerich-Sports) has sent us their official press-release for the TV-broadcast around Team-Kapp on January 25, at 17.15.
• January 8, 2006: Team-Kapp finished 3rd at the Helvetia-Trophy in Schaffhausen, only loosing one game against CC Hamburg, Team Bartsch. See newspaper article of Schaffhauser Nachrichten from January 6, 2006.

December '05

• December 31, 2005: Team-Kapp will be profiled in DSF (Zuerich-Sports) on January 25, 2006 at 5.15pm. See some pictures of the TV-trip to Torino of Uli and Oli on December 29/30, 2005.
• December 21, 2005: Team-Kapp is officially nominated for the Olympic Winter Games in Torino by the NOK. As well have a look on the website of ARD, ZDF, Sport1 and SZ!
• December 19, 2005: Team-Kapp finished 5th after losing an exciting Tie-Breaker for the last semifinal spot against Norway at the European Curling Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. November '05

• November 30, 2005: ARD (German TV) will broadcast IRL - GER (duration and broadcasting time depends on the weather at a Biathlon competition) at the European Championships in Garmisch Partenkrichen. There is a chance of watching the final live on ARD if Team-Kapp would be one of the two finalists. Have a look on the schedule of our games and the Eurosport TV-schedule on our ECC website.
• November 23, 2005: "Auto Singer" official carrier of Team-Kapp at the European Championships in Garmisch!

• November 20, 2005: At the Lucerne Curling Trophy Team-Kapp lost the C-Final against the Great Britain Olympic Team 2, skipped by Dave Murdoch and finished on the shared 9th place.
• November 17, 2005: Just discovered! Have a look on our appearance on the Swiss Television broadcast (high- /low-speed access) which was produced at the Bund-Trophy around Team-Stoeckli, the Swiss Team for Torino 2006.
• November 16, 2005: Team-Kapp is supported by two additional Main-Sponsors at the European Championships in Garmisch Partenkrichen, Germany, December 9-17, 2005:"Aviko" and "Guescho"

• November 14, 2005: Team-Kapp did not qualify for the quarterfinals at home bonspiel in Fuessen. Find more about the "Challenge Cup" here.
• November 9, 2005: Team-Kapp announces their Main-Sponsor for the European Championships in Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany, December 9-17 2005: We are very happy that the "Hofpfisterei" is supporting us!

• November 8, 2005: Team-Kapp was only stopped in the final of the GP Inter in Bern. The Italian Olympic Team won in the extra end.

October '05

• October 24, 2005: Team-Kapp is heading the World Curling Tour - Europe!
• October 24, 2005: Team-Kapp best European team at the Bund Trophy in Bern! After loosing the semi-final against Pat Ryan by an inch, Team-Kapp finished 3rd with an extra-end win against U. Schmidt from Denmark. Get more information, pictures, and results at www.bundtrophy.ch.

Team-Kapp got back into the game against Denmark when Andy was playing a "fiver" for a blanked end in the 6th (see screenshot of the situation below, we are still searching for a video...). Question: Where do you need to hit in order to get all five red stones out of the house? We are looking forward to your answers! ;-) >>

• October 10, 2005: After having won the first three games in the Swiss-Cup in Basel (CH) we lost the A-group final in an unfortunate last end against World-Champion Team-Ferbey (CA). Reaching as well the B- and C-group finals did not succeed in achieving a spot in the quarterfinals. Team-Kapp finished on the shared 9th place. Results

• October 3, 2005: Team-Kapp (reduced to Uli and Oli) supported by Jeannine, Thomas, Patrick, Pascale, and Andrea became 5th at the +2 bonspiel in Wetzikon. Thanks to Team Armin Hauser (CC Wetzikon) for the invitation to this opening tournament! 2 new sheets of ice had been added to the rink early this year.

• April 7, 2005: Team-Kapp (Germany) finishes round robin in second place after 6 teams had been tied with 8:3 records. See details and explanation under www.worldcurling.org. With the page-system used at the 2005 WCC it means the Bronze Medal is for sure. Now Team-Kapp has 2 chances to get into the final. Game 1st (Scotland) against 2nd (Germany) will be at 7.30pm (PST).
